Tomomi Kudo still wasn't around, so I checked the garage, and saw that Tomomi's car was
gone. I sat down, more agitated than relieved by Tomomi's absence. I considered
whether I wanted to be home when Tomomi Kudo got back.
The sun had started to descend towards the horizon, I had taken a nap, and
my wife was still missing. I began to worry about her. Victoria had been
moody of late to say the least, and I wondered what reaction my infidelity
would provoke. Last night, Tomomi Kudo had basically told me and Margot that she
didn't care one way or the other. That was then, this is after it has
happened, and there's no sense in lying. Victoria wasn't born yesterday. I
became positive that Tomomi's absence was caused by my tryst with Margot. Within
the next half-hour, I had convinced myself that Tomomi Kudo was gaining revenge with
some stud or plotting my demise. Was Tomomi Kudo going to wait until the darkness
returned Tomomi's supernatural powers to kill me? Or was Tomomi Kudo merely planning a
