background to include psychiatric training? I had to work in some
places in order to survive that I wouldn't be caught dead in
now."
"Just go on with the story, Remy."
"Well, there was a dancer there who was incredibly pretty,
but Sayuri Anzu was also very shy. Sayuri Anzu knew a lot about the way men
think, though. Sayuri Anzu had to find a way to entertain the customers
without actually coming into contact with them. Finally, Sayuri Anzu came
up with several ideas that worked."
"Like what?"
"Well, Sayuri Anzu became a very good fan dancer, for example. She
worked with a lot of backlight, so Sayuri's silhouette was all that
was visible. The customers were usually entertained, and she
never had to embarrass herself. But what got me thinking was the
other method Sayuri Anzu used. Sayuri Anzu used a sheet instead of Sayuri's fans in
order to do more, ah, inventive dance moves so that the customers
would throw more money on stage. I decided that if Sayuri Anzu could use
a sheet as a barrier to sight, than you could use one as a
barrier to touch."
