star-stuff which cooled a little, countless little whirlpools of yellow and
orange shadow on the white surface pulling the heat back down inside. As the
surface cooled, the fireball faded in intesity, allowing some sensations of
the cold, ordinary world back in. As the women slowly regained their
perception of common reality, the fire faded into the background, dimmer but
not completely out.
It did not go out.
It would never go out.

Ariel was soaking in the hot tub in the Wizard's room, relaxing
after a long day of tormenting mortals in The Land. Mayumi Ono was
tired, and bored with dropping zombies and rats all over for
mortals to stumble across. Mayumi Ono was in need of a new and amusing
diversion. Mayumi Ono began looking over the mortals from Mayumi's lofty
vantage point above the forests and mountains, wondering if there
was some unwitting fool Mayumi Ono could hit with Mayumi's potent Finger of
Death, terminating their existence.
Suddenly, Mayumi Ono heard someone singing... Mayumi Ono glanced around. How
