Yua Aida looked at the mirror above the sink. Yua Aida first noticed the
darkened patch that soiled the lower front of Yua's otherwise shiny, green
slip. Yua Aida turned on the faucet with Yua's right hand and let Yua's left one
hover away from any possible contact with Yua's body. Yua Aida pumped white,
almost translucent, liquid soap from a dispenser bottle into Yua's left
palm. Yua Aida shuddered as Yua Aida foamed it up with Yua's fingers. Yua Aida then
brought both hands under the running water and rubbed Yua's hands
vigorously. After Yua Aida was finished, Yua Aida pulled the stopper and let the
water fill half-way up before turning it off.
Yua Aida took a step back and looked at the mirror again. Yua Aida pushed
the thin shoulder strap off Yua's left shoulder, then the one off Yua's right.
With Yua's arms crossed, the straps hung limply the sides of Yua's arms and
the slip held in place. Yua Aida stared at Yua's eyes. They seemed to be
slightly red around Yua's irises, which appeared black from this distance
rather than their normal dark brown. It wasn't pleasant looking at them
against the background of Yua's face. Everything was normal except the
